A sweet older lady watched us take a picture and asked if she could sit with us.
She talked and talked all about her momma, who is 99, and told us about growing up with 8 siblings. She said she recently told her momma, “you should have wrote a book about the hardships of raising 9 kids!” She said her momma was offended and yelled at her as loud as she had ever heard her momma yell, “what are you talking about!? It wasn’t hard! It was fun!”
😊
I’m thankful I met this woman today.
💗You could see her love and respect for her momma in her face when she spoke of her. “I always thought it would be hard to watch my mom get older. But she has lost her vision and her mind so beautifully so I can tell she still loves the Lord.”
I’m starting the day encouraged again by God’s faithfulness in all times. Oh, that our children would be able to say these things of us.
