Today we are so especially thankful that God decided to entrust her to us. A year ago today blood tests revealed a dangerous drop in progesterone and we were awaiting an ultrasound to see if she was still there with us. Had we not heard her heart beating so perfectly that day, God would have still been faithful and good. God proved His faithfulness to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and most of all He proved His faithfulness at the cross. He daily proves His faithfulness to us personally in giving and even in taking away. But we are so thankful that He is allowing us to taste His goodness in the experience of doing life with her everyday. 

She loves her mommy, she’s a good night time sleeper, she brings out so much goofiness in Hadassah, she smiles a ton, she loves food, she is still rocking her chubby cheeks, and she will be 5 months old tomorrow. She is a great mercy to our family and we wouldn’t be the same without her. 

Hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. – Hebrews 10:23
